Mikel's Story:
Day in and day out I watched my father leave for work no matter the weather, his feelings, health, or work culture. I recognized even then, that his job was a thankless one and the leaders hadn't a clue as how to lead a team toward success. Years later I would do much the same as he. Head off day in and day out to thankless jobs, with leaders who cared, but didn't know how to lead on a high level.
During my working career, through trial and error of my own, I began to learn new pathways to lead blue-collar teams and help them in their personal lives reach toward success! So much so, that not only was I leading my own teams better, but I also began teaching these techniques to those whom I worked for. Years later, we started a business whose sole purpose is to help everyone from CEO's to entry-level workers to lead on a level they never knew they could!

Anita's Story:
I left home directly after graduating highschool to start my entrepreneurial journey, with nothing but pure determination! Since then I have gotten married, had a family, moved across the country-twice, learned how a house is built, helped start a summer camp, learned to homeschool our children, balance family with a traveling husband as a 'single-parent' , start a business during a global pandemic, and graduate my first senior. whew!
Mindset shifting wasn't a term I was familiar with when I was eighteen, but I knew that my thinking needed to change if I was going to create a new future for myself. And a growth-mindset has been imperative in every stage of life I've come through since then! This term is a constant conversation in our family, I've taught it in our homeschool circles, and we've used mindset strategies when building out the courses that we are now offering here online.
